The passing of Didace LeBlanc
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of a great friend, Didace LeBlanc.
Didace, as many of you will know was a great friend and a respected fiddler. He was generous and humble but would never miss the opportunity to pick up the fiddle with his friends to entertain neighbours and concert goers. We’ll miss him. We’ve included his complete obituary below.
LeBLANC, Didace
— 75, Cheticamp, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2010, in Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Cheticamp, he was a son of the late Edouard and Cecile (Camus) LeBlanc. Before early retirement due to illness, he was employed by LeVatte Construction in Sydney for many years.
